"I don't know where the artificial stops and the real starts"

Andy Warhol; otherwise known as Andrew Warhola was an american painter, printmaker, and film maker. He lived from August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987. Andy was a leading figure in the  art movement known as pop art. But these facts are such small details compared to what he did during his life time. Andy Warhol's work really stands out to me. I love the color and how all the parts of his pictures pop out individually. I feel his art creates an energy and excitement when you look at it. Something that i find very interesting about this artists is that unlike other artists, his work is usually present in our everyday lives and you may not have known. The campbells soup can label and the brillo pad box were both designed by him. The highest price ever paid for a Warhol painting is US$100 million for a 1963 canvas titled Eight Elivises.

Andy Warhol's work is simple but yet very intriguing. The colors are so much fun to look at and digest.Andy Warhol changed the way people saw and thought about art.
